The second annual USAH Goalie Day camp will take place in Spokane WA on July 21-22, 2018. We have expanded the camp to two days, including two-ice times per day, multiple presentations on a variety of technical and mental aspects of goaltending, yoga, dryland, on-ice video and personal video review. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. $120/goalie.
At the 2018 PNAHA Development Camp in Wenatchee, 26-29 Jan 2018, we partially implemented the procedure described in the document below on goaltender evaluations. Goaltenders were evaluated on the criteria described in section IV of "Evaluating Goaltenders for and at the PNAHA Development Camp".
In the coming 2018-19 season, we will implement section III of the document, holding Evaluation camps on the east and west sides of the State, with common goaltending evaluators to normalize the selection process.
This is the first of what we plan will be an annual symposium on goaltending in Eastern WA. The one-day camp will include goalies primarily from Spokane, Portland and the Tri-Cities. Also in attendance will be gear manufacturers including Vaughn, for technical inputs, fitting, and gear trials.
